Hypnosis, NLP & IEMT In Essex & London

I use a combination of IEMT (Integral Eye Movement Therapy), NLP – Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Provocative Therapy and Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy. To see an example of how I work, watch the videos below. There are six in all, (it was an hour long session) and was with a client who was experiencing Anxiety. To simply see the results watch part six.

N.B. I've had reports back that a couple of people have felt better just by watching these sessions. While I maintain a high level of scepticism about this, I'm happy that this has been the case. If you do have a particular response to any of these clips, please give me a call on 07903 713234 or email me a couple of lines oninfo@westessexhypnotherapy.co.uk, I don't want any money for it – just feedback.

  • "Studies show that Hypnosis can treat everything from chronic pain to poor study habits. Chances are, it can work for you."

Hypnotherapy is the name given for any therapy done in conjunction with Hypnosis, and is generally classified in the Complimentary Medicine/Alternative Therapy field. Other definitions (and there are many!) align it more as a branch of psychotherapy. It has a huge body of rigorous scientific research that validates the amazing claims of Hypnotherapy with tangible and documented results. This has lead to its acceptance as a widely scientifically acknowledged psychological and therapeutic discipline and a long-standing reputation for effectiveness among the general public.

In my Hypnotherapy sessions here in Woodford Green, West Essex, you'll be guided into a state in which psychological and physical changes, beyond normal conscious capability become possible.

You're likely to feel relaxed and in comfort, many of my clients report a pleasant state ofdeep inner calm and physical relaxation during the Hypnotherapy sessions.

NLP

(Neuro-Linguistic Programming) can be used with great effect in a therapeutic & coaching context. Considered to be a Solution focused Brief Therapy, its therapeutic application and approach differs from mainstream psychiatry – i.e. 'Problem & Solution', and retrospective analysis. It instead favours present and future orientated behavioural changes (after all, we live in the now, and the future is yet to come). This does away, to the greater extent, with the need to visit any past traumatic events.

Neuro Linguistic Programming can sound a bit like jargon – so here's the breakdown:

  • 'Neuro' refers to our nervous system, the routes of our 5 senses; seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting and smelling.
  • 'Linguistic' refers to the way we use language, and also the 'internal' language our minds use, and how these can be reflected in our physiology (postures, gestures, and habits) as they often point to the way we think, what we choose to believe and our core values.
  • 'Programming' is a term taken from Computer Sciences, inferring that our thoughts, feelings and behaviours are habitual 'programs' that can be changed as easily as a person would uninstall old and install new programs.

In summary, NLP is concerned with the 'How' and not the 'Why'. Knowing the structure of the problem makes it easy to break and build something new.

NLP has helped thousands of people, from famous celebrities, athletes and heads of state right down to everyday people all over the world to end bad habits, phobias, anxiety and depression, powerfully and permanently. Chances are it can get you what you want too.

  • "It is rare that a genuine advance occurs with direct clinical applications. Integral Eye Movement Therapy is fascinating and extremely effective."

IEMTIntegral Eye Movement Therapy is a brief change work process that generates rapid change in the area of undesired emotional and identity imprints. The process and algorithms of the technique answers the question, "How did the client learn to feel this way, about that thing?" and applies specific change at the right place within the client's model of the world.

By building resources inside the problem state, IEMT brings the client more into the present and enables the client to stay out of past negative experiences permanently. For the practitioner, IEMT is about precise calibration. Unlike other treatments involving eye movements, with this model the eye movements are neither random nor simply a repetitive left and right movement in the hope that change will occur. The training provides the tools for the practitioner to precisely calibrate which axis through which to move the eyes enabling change work to occur with precision and at a remarkable speed.
IEMT is not the grand unified theory of therapy and change work, but is a very useful tool for the therapist's toolkit and provides an excellent remedial tool for emotional change and a generative tool for identity change. IEMT enables excellent results where previously a good outcome might have appeared improbable.
