About Alan Whitton: Hypnotist & NLP Coach

I'm a Therapist and Coach living in Woodford Green, Essex, working with all kinds of people people to get them the changes they want, and due to the way I work often need little or no content of the client's personal history. I am solution focused in my approach and usually use a combination of NLP Hypnosis, IEMT and Provocative Therapy whilst working with clients.

I also host short trainings for therapists with internationally acclaimed trainers that have made significant developments in the field of Brief Therapy; most recently Andrew T. Austin and Nick Kemp.

I am martial artist of two and a half decades, and have trained alongside many World Champions. In my youth I represented England for Karate and took Silver in the British Karate Championships. Later on in life I took up the sport of Thai Boxing and won both British Kickboxing and English Thai Boxing Heavyweight titles. I've been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the Martial Art that spawned the UFC Ultimate Fighting Champinships and took a medal in my first competition last year.

I also work on a voluntary basis for the great charity Victim Support, and in the past have worked with London's homeless as well as nd Tanzanian Missionaries caring for Aids orphans, Street children and the destitute.

Getting there

Lily House, 11/12 The Shrubberies, is an elegant Victorian building ideally located in South Woodford. It is only a minute's walk from South Woodford Central Line underground station and only a few minutes by car from the end of the M11 and Junction 26 of the M25. London City Airport and Docklands are also just a 15 minute drive away.

At a place of your choosing

In addition to the Shrubberies, in some circumstances I am also prepared to run sessions in the workplace or home of the client. In this case there is a £10 charge to cover travel fees, for London or Essex, or more if the journey costs more.
